Sister Spirit Sanctuary, Temple of the Sacred Feminine is an all-faiths women’s temple. We honor Sacred Feminine in all HER many faces and aspects. It is a temple space that honors and embraces women of all spiritual backgrounds and traditions, while embracing the mysteries that bind us together in kinship and sisterhood as women. Women’s Spirituality is a powerful movement and Sister Spirit Sanctuary, Temple of the Sacred Feminine is one avenue where women seeking can learn about, create and experience divine sisterhood. It a space where women can come together in spirit and love and celebrate their sacred and divine spiritual selves among other women. We are located in the Akron, OH area.
Sister Spirit Sanctuary exists to carry a message of love to all women-born-women, regardless of spiritual, cultural background and sexual orientation; to embrace and honor and celebrate themselves and the mysteries that are exclusive to only natural-born women. It exists to also offer a woman centered, Goddess focused and life affirming foundation in which to live and build their lives from. We exist to help as many women to reconnect to and reclaim their inherent strength, wisdom and truth through the Divine Feminine within.
Honoring Diversity
Metaphorically as well as literally, we view the Sacred as the feminine principle and the total sum of all things. Awakening to Her consciousness is to achieve harmony and acceptance of multiple truths and diverse traditions. We recognize, respect and hold that the beliefs of one may not be the belief of another but all are the diversity that we refer to as Goddess.
Female Affirming
Sisters Spirit Sanctuary, Temple of the Sacred Feminine is a temple for women providing women-only space for the purposes of remembering, embracing, celebrating and honoring our sacred mysteries as women. It is absolutely not a a gathering to “male bash” nor will it be tolerated. Women's Spirituality is not about men so neither is our focus.
