Aura
is a devoted priestess of Goddess. She is an ordained minister, spiritual
counselor and midwife whose focus is on assisting women in their birthing processes
of the Goddess Within.
She has always had a love for nature, fairies & trees as far back as she can
remember. Having been fortunate enough to be raised in her Scottish-Irish spiritualist
grandmother and Native American grandfather’s house, she was naturally exposed to
a diverse blend of spiritual thought and belief which nurtured her own spiritual
gift of claircognizance which is also known as “clear -knowing.” Mythology, old-wives
tales, psychic abilities, necromancy, ghost stories, psychic readings
(character) and the practice of folk magic was normal conversation. As was
the practice of nature spirituality, the occasional pow-wow and the occasional visit
to Church now and again.
Over the last twenty-plus years she has had formal training as well as has done intensive, independent study of many different paths and traditions of spirituality which include:
Spiritualism, Metaphysics, Traditional and Celtic Witchcraft, the Avalonian Tradition, Correllian Nativist Tradition, Dianic Witchcraft, Santeria, Tibetan Buddhism, Folk Magic, and Christianity among many others.
Aura has been gathering women-only circles for the last several years. In the past, she has also coordinated and facilitated many pagan outings, gatherings, picnics and circles. She has also taught (and continues to teach) Tarot and other classes. However, it is her sacred work as a spiritual midwife with women-only circles where she feels most called.
As a spiritual teacher, healer and skillful ritualist, Aura uses a combination of her education, intuition and life experiences to implement spiritual and therapeutic services to improve the quality of life for her and others.
Aura has formal training and considerable experience, and in depth independent study on topics such as:

· Divination: Scrying and Tarot
· Spiritual & Pastoral Counseling
Aura is an avid reader, researcher and student and is passionate about mythology. She continues to pursue knowledge through the studies of the work of Joseph Campbell. Her own personal spiritual practice is based on Druidism with splash of Buddhism and the profound teachings set forth by Glenys Livingstone in her book:“PaGaian: Re-Inventing the Goddess Religion.” Glenys’ work is greatly influenced by and primarily based on the works of Thomas Berry, Brian Swimme and Starhawk. It is through Glenys’ “PaGaian” teachings that Aura learned to appreciate the great works of Thomas Berry and Brian Swimme and continues to learn from them.
This deeply intuitive and passionate Cancerian spirit with an Aries moon and Leo ascendant is a charismatic, intelligent and compassionate teacher who inspires and encourages many women who have the pleasure of circling with her to dare to be the women they were born to be, not the one the world expects them to be.
